Hi,

LingoPad is a great tool for quick offline translations.
However, an extended version of the tool could also be useful for other purposes.
Sometimes, a translation is not enough, you need additional information and explanations from a monolingual dictionary. It could also be an interface to an offline wikipedia. Wikipedia is free and not as big as you think. You do not need any pictures and the first paragraph is often enough to get a fair understanding of what the entity you are looking for is all about. Integrating this into LingoPad would provide quick access to frequently needed information.
