Participles after certain Verbs

The verbs in italics are sometimes followed by a participle. Complete the sentences using the Present Participle.

  1. I smelled something (burn) in the house.
  2. She did not see the car (come) closer.
  3. Do you notice Tom (talk) to Amelie?
  4. We heard the boys (knock) at the door.
  5. We listened to the mother (sing) her child to sleep.
  6. She could feel herself (blush) .
  7. I found my two cats (sit) on the table.
  8. She jealously watched her boyfriend (flirt) with another girl.
