Food and Drink for Santa

Before going to bed on Christmas Eve, many families leave some food and drink in front of the fireplace. These are usually some cookies or sandwiches, a glass of milk or a bottle of beer and some carrots.

It’s a refreshment for Santa Claus, and the carrots are for the reindeer.
