Snowman - Schneemann

You need:

  • a ceramic snowman
  • acrylic paints
  • 3D snow
  • glitter
  • paintbrushes in various sizes

Steps:

  1. Apply a layer of white acrylic paint on the parts that will later be covered with snow.
  2. Leave until dry.
  3. Paint hat, nose, eyes etc. with acrylic paints.
  4. Leave until dry.
  5. Apply 3D snow.

Note: If hat, scarf etc. have a structure and you want to use two colours, cover the whole hat, scarf etc. with one colour first and leave until dry. For the second colour, use a firm and dry paintbrush. Take a minimal amount of paint and rub the brush on a paper towel to remove most of the paint again. When there is almost no paint on the brush anymore, carefully brush across the surface of the hat, scarf etc. This way, the second colour is only applied to the upper parts of the surface.

For the snowman in the picture, blue was applied first. Then orange and white were dry-brushed on the surface.
