Hi:

I still temporarely run on Millennium. The help faq says that who's still using Windows 98 canNOT make Hanzi readable.Windows Millennium is 98 version. I got news for those who also still use Millennium 2 edition !!! Ignore that remark of the support faq and do as followed. Go to www.hanyu.com.cn , on the homepage you download the pinyin font in C:\Windows\FONT [/].Best before doing what I tell you here, first to restart your pc, to be sure your pinyin font is in the list. Come back on you Lingopad dictionary and go to settings. In settings do what I did to make it work fine: in " WORDLIST " you set ' PINYIN ' ( the one you downloaded should be on your list. In " TRANSLATION " you set ' ARIAL UNICODE MS ' and finally in "PRONUNCIATION " you set again ' PINYIN ', you must set that very same downloaded PINYIN font that you did download from the website I gave you . It works on my Pentium Intel PC on Windows 98 Millennium 2nd edition very perfectly !!

Good luck !!

Chris.
